The Wesbuilders website also profiles the builders who are members of the Wesbuilders buying group along with providing links to Supplier websites. As an important link in the Wesbuilders TEAM approach to doing business, this site brings together Members and Suppliers so Together Everyone Achieves More. The Members Forum also provides a two-way information exchange that can be accessed by Members around the clock. Feedback on the website is most welcome. The 2009 Wesbuilders Trade Expo is planned for mid August but with the success of the 2008 Expo we will need to more to an even larger location to be able to house all the exhibitors and Members. Stay tuned for the date and location.

In mid November the Wesbuilders Annual General Meeting will be held to provide the Members with a summary of our activity during the year and an opportunity to raise new ideas to grow our Co-operative.

The first 2009 Sundowner is being planned at the moment which should be a great event. It looks like we may be able to secure a well known local identity to come along to share a few stories. If so it should be a great evening. More later…

Kwik has taken delivery of five new exciting vehicles to add to its fleet. Our third 16T Tadano City Crane is now operational, and we have taken delivery of the first 40T All Terrain Demag for hourly rate hire in Perth, a new 55T Tadano slewing crane, and our flagship the 55T All Terrain Grove. In addition, we have just taken delivery of the stunning DAF dual steer tandem with a 30TM HIAB crane – this is the largest crane truck in Perth boasting a lifting chart better than a 15T Franna and the ability to take loads in excess of 10 tonnes. Kwik now has over 30 cranes, crane trucks and specialized trucks on its fleet with a back up of over 30 subcontractors and owner drivers available immediately for all crane and transport requirements.
